After signing up my son for this years season with NAYSL (recreational) I was told that the league went to the "blind draft" this year. I am very disapoitned that I will not get the kids back who have allowed me to coach then for the past 3 years. Many of them have been playing together since U-6. We are now 2 years in U-12.

I am not fond of the idea but will continue to support my son and soccer as long as possible.
Maybe it's time for us to create our own "traveling" team.
Any pointers on that?

HI Tom, We were blessed and had great Spring weather this year to get our U14 travel team out on the fields early. Last Spring season we didn't see a blade of grass untill our first game and we played like it as well. Went down 10-0 that first match if I rememeber correctly. This year we are 2-0 to start the season and looking for more as we get ready for our first official tournament with this team.
