Here's How To Chart It From by Roger Spry

Purpose - working on agility, mobility, strength, endurance and balance.

The two of the best "skill" stretching drills:
1) side volleys with the knee
2) outside of the foot volleys (off the hip)

The exercises are best done with some sort of dance music (Brazilian samba preferred). With the music the players won't be back on their heels and will really get into it. Also they will develop a rhythm to the exercises. You'll need:
-- Fast music (64 beats per minute for those of you who knows what that means),
-- right equipment (loud speakers) and the right acoustics, the players do seem to respond well to the music.

One of Spry's techniques is to turn the music off after a while and tell the players to "hear the music in their minds." Also, the players enjoy the idea of stretching with rhythmic movement (interspersed with some timely static stretching) and then incorporating ball skills. Working in pairs, the supporting players can help their partners gradually exceed their comfort zones, which means improvement.
