Here's How To Chart It          Each of these situations is different, because the overall level of the players is different. I can take any of my college goalies and play them at defense, midfield, or forward. There is NO WAY I could do the same at u14. So I let my younger players have much more time to work on basic field skills. As they get to high-school, they get more advanced training on field skills and in the goal. By the time they get to college, I expect them to have a complete set of basic field skills, so they get advanced field skills, but spend most of their time in goalie specific training.

U14g:
Goalie does foot/field skill warmups with the team, stretches with the team and then gets specialized training while the rest of the team works.

High School
Goalie either shows up early or stays late for specific training. They work with the field players on field skills, and then move to game position when the scrimmages or functional training for forwards begins.

College:
Keepers work alone in a group for about 30-45 minutes going through warm-up and specific skills. They then join for advanced technique in field skills, and then go to game position for scrimmage
